Finding out that you are going to have a baby is an exciting feeling particularly in case you’ve been trying so hard and for so long. You have a wide selection of emotions which satisfies you with everything from pleasure to stress. All of these are natural emotions because your hormones will have a field day with your body during the next nine months.
Each month you will see something new and experience a new landmark. The biggest milestone in the beginning is when you feel your baby move for the first time. At first it will feel just like small flutters or bubbles on your belly. Then you’ll feel solid moves in the kind of lumps against the walls of your uterus. The baby is moving their arms and legs.
You’ll find out whether you’re having a boy or a girl. This will fill you with delight and you will have so many ideas about what the infant room will look like, exactly what the title is going to be, and what type of person they’ll grow up to be. Life is new and exciting. You and your spouse are excited about the coming of the baby.
The newborn is given to you. You’re not certain what to feel. But there are quite a few other girls who do not get this feeling at first sight and that is okay. They see their small one for the first time and, for some strange reason, they’re underwhelmed. After the long wait and the fertility treatments, you thought you would feel differently. After the baby is dressed and cleaned, the nurses bring them to you. You might feel a crazy rush of emotions and you only want to cuddle and hold this tiny human that came from you. If you do not feel this, do not be worried about it. Not every girl feels that love at first sight emotion. You know there’s a connection but it’s not of undying love.
During the next few days, the love will increase. And if you’re breastfeeding, this emotion will grow stronger due to the amount hormones flowing through your body. An unconditional love for your child will grow.
